1804 C12 Draped Bust half cent, Crosslet 4 with NO Stems, R2. This is the front-line example for the Furnace Run PCGS Registry Set of US half cents from 1793 to 1857 by Cohen Variety. This coin has been authenticated and graded by PCGS as AU55, and it was not sent to CAC due to time constraints. This is a glossy medium brown example with some maroon undertones and only minor signs of contact. There is a lot of underlying luster here, and this one would certainly liven up with a brushing.
