Overton-110 is among the most common of the ten different die varieties of the 1807 Draped Bust Half Dollars.  This was the only use of the obverse die, but the reverse die saw earlier use on two different 1806 die varieties and two more 1807 die varieties.  High grade examples are plentiful -- as far as early U.S. Half Dollars go -- the PCGS Condition Census starts at MS63 and includes at least three Gem examples.  The highest recorded price for this date was for an NGC MS66 that sold for $82,250 in early 2015, but that coin reappeared in 8/2015 and brought only $64,625 in its second go-around.  This leaves the Eric Newman NGC MS65 at $70,500 as the legitimate record-holder for this variety.
