1809 C2 Classic Head half cent, Normal Date, R3. This is the front-line example for the Furnace Run PCGS Registry Set of US half cents from 1793 to 1857 by Cohen Variety. This coin has been authenticated and graded by PCGS as EF40, and it is a gorgeous glossy dark chocolate brown with original surfaces and very nice eye appeal. I suspect the coin did not sticker at CAC due to a well-hidden nick on the neck just left of the hair curl. Otherwise this is a really nice example despite that tiny nick.
