1811 C2 Classic Head half cent, Close Date, R3. This is the front-line example for the Furnace Run PCGS Registry Set of US half cents from 1793 to 1857 by Cohen Variety. This coin has been authenticated and graded by PCGS as VF35, and this is a very nice, relatively high-grade example of the key date for the Classic Head series. Original surfaces and color with quite sharp details and no real defects to speak of. Appears to be M3.0 with very faint cracks OF-rim and tops of MER.
