1814/3 $5 AU58 认证号05666796, PCGS号8117

B. 1-A, Miller-121, the only known dies, High R.5. Produced to the extant of only 15,454 pieces, the 1814/3 is a difficult issue to locate in today''s market. Extant representatives are scarcer than their 1813 and 1818 counterparts and the encountered grade is likely to be in the VF or XF range.

David Akers (1975/88)

The 1814/3 is considerably more rare than the 1813 in all grades and slightly more rare than the 1818. Most specimens I have seen were in the VF to EF range and strictly mint state examples are rare. Gem uncirculated specimens are extremely rare and are actually less often available than gems of some of the famous rarities of this type. Like the 1813, the 1814/3 is generally well struck on the head but weak at the borders. Parts of the eagle are also quite often not fully struck up.
