Heritage Auctions (28106) - Jan 2011 - George III Sixpence 1819, S3791, taller digits in slanted date, MS66 PCGS, Superb, another beauty but very different from the 1818, with rich golden gray and amber gray surfaces that are beautifully original, clashed dies showing some shield details at rear of and surrounding the portrait, various letters of the legend re-engraved, most pleasing portrait, reverse bold in outer areas but a bit softly struck in the center. Quite scarce so fine; an apt rarity comparison might be a Seated Liberty or Barber dime in the US series. From the Exeter College Collection. Rayner rated as Scarce. Mintage: 4,712,000.
