Two die varieties of the 1833 Dime have a final 3 in the date that is markedly higher than the first 3: JR-5 and JR-7.  The JR-5 variety is very common, while the JR-7 is not, so any time you encounter an 1833 High 3 Dime, be sure to have it authenticated properly (preferably by using the PCGS Variety Service).  A couple of high grade examples exist of the 1833 High 3 Dime, including two PCGS MS-66 examples.  Any Mint State example must be considered scarce, but there is an ample supply of circulated examples to satisfy the needs of collectors.
