The 1833 LM-5 Half Dime is an exceedingly rare variety.  It was first discovered in 1987 and, since then, only seven examples have been uncovered.  The most recent find appeared on eBay in January 2017 as an unattributed 1833 Half Dime.  An eagle-eyed collector snapped it up at the full Buy-It-Now price and, after a seventeen year effort, finally added the last coin he needed to complete his variety set of all Capped Bust Half Dimes.  

The finest 1833 LM-5 Half Dime appears to be the MS62 that sold as part of the Russ Logan collection in 2002.  No other Mint State examples have been reported.
