CAC approved. 1834 LM-3. V-2. FS-301. R-3. 3 Over Inverted 3. Ex. Jules Reiver 1/06:29415. This is a lovely example of the 3 over Inverted 3 obverse, a popular blundered date. The reverse obviously lapped, with very thin arrows. S2 is filled at the top. This coin is a toned an attractive light to medium silver, with iridescent accents. Purchased by Jim Matthews in the Reiver sale, then to the Old Chelsea Collection 08/14 via W. David Perkins, all three men old friends of mine.
