Fortin Description: Superb Eye Appeall, Steel Gray Luster, Fully Struck, Aquamarine Toning Ring, Accurately Graded, White Pine Collection . A superior 1839 Philadelphia No Drapery strike with steel gray base coloring that is nicely framed by aquamarine rims on both sides. During bright light review, steely reflective luster radiates and is most pleasing. Strike is hammered with fully rounded stars and all eagle feathers and claws being deeply impressed. Eye appeal is substantial. The third that this lovely No Drapery quarter is handled by GFRC with the first sale on behalf of the Central California Collection followed by the Kansas Collection divestment. The White Pine Collection is now letting this piece return to the market for a new home in an advanced Liberty Seated quarter collection. Housed in PCGS Gen 5.0 Dupont hologram holder.
