The 1841-O Quarter Dollar is one of the more common dates of the 1840s, though it's mintage is not the largest.  The 1841-O is also one of the most plentiful pre-1850 Quarters, though "plentiful" in this case is still rather scarce, nor does "plentiful" mean the coins are particularly nice.  The typical Mint State grade for this date is MS62.  Choice examples are decidedly rare, and Gems are non-existent with the exception of a single, remarkable PCGS MS67.

The overall strike on the 1841-O Quarter is usually quite good for a New Orleans product, though it is never quite as sharp as on a comparably graded Philadelphia Mint issue.
