1855 Braided Hair half cent, R1. This is the front-line example for the Furnace Run PCGS Registry Set of US half cents from 1793 to 1857 by Cohen Variety. This coin has been authenticated and graded by PCGS as MS65BN. This coin did not sticker at CAC, and I suspect it is because of one tiny nick in the right obverse field. But frankly I still consider this a PLUS coin because the color, strike, and eye appeal are so nice. Bold even luster on each side, highlighted by underlying maroon toning that is quite attractive.
