Certified from a raw coin... Bought from Jack Beymer. POP 1 SNOW #2 One of the stronger repunched dates in the series; even in a Pr01 grade the repunching is still very clear! This variety appears to be much rarer than thought? Only 19 coins certified by PCGS in Brown and RB and none in Red! Was the Obverse die retired early in its life with very few coins minted, or didn't anybody notice before the majority of the coins minted from this Obverse die became lost, damaged or otherwise removed from commerce??
