Judd 1133 is a silver version of a $1 pattern designed by James Barton Longacre and executed by William Barber. The obverse features a figure of Liberty in the form of an Indian princess, facing left and seated on a rock formation. In her right hand, she holds a staff surmounted on a freedman's cap; her left hand rests atop a globe adorned with a banner emblazoned with the word LIBERTY. The reverse shows a simple agricultural wreath of corn, cotton, and wheat surrounding the denomination "1 DOLLAR." The word "STANDARD" appears at the top of the reverse.
Acording to U.S. pattern researcher, Saul Teichman, over a dozen examples are known, which meshes with the number of individual Judd 1133's that have appeared at auction over the past couple of decades. The best appear to be a pair of NGC PR66's. A few Cameo examples are known, but we are not aware of any Deep Cameos.
