The mintage of the 1876-CC is a bit higher than the mintage of the 1875-CC but the 1876-CC is a slightly rarer date. In uncirculated condition it is much more rare than the 1875-CC but not as rare as the underrated 1874-CC. The 1876-CC is also more rare in Unc. than the 1883-CC, 1884-CC, 1889-CC, 1890-CC, 1892-CC and 1893-CC. As a date, the 1876-CC is relatively available in VF, EF, or AU condition. Average quality uncs are scarce but do appear from time to time. In choice Unc., the 1876-CC is very scarce and in gem condition it is rare, but certainly not unknown.
