BG-1067 is an Indian Head 1/2 Dollar on a round planchet.  Breen and Gillio noted that these were "gold plated over baser core."  The date is crudely engraved and the second 8 appears to have been cut over a 7.  The 0 was also recut and retouched, as were some of the letters on the reverse and portions of the wreath.  In a later state, this obverse die was combined with a different reverse.

Breen-Gillio rated the BG-1067 as Low Rarity 4, which is slightly scarce.  In reality, it is a bit more common, as PCGS has certified over scores of Mint State examples ranging from MS61 to MS65.  The highest grade to appear at auction in recent years is MS64, so if a PCGS MS65 example shows up at auction, grab it!
