Like the 81-O, the 82- tends to be fully struck but with subdued luster. The reverse tends to be weaker struck more often however. Slider coins are also fairly common. Alarge number of die varieties and a few are significant. Three very visible O/S moint marks(Vam's 3,4,and 5)are fairly scarce and command substantial premiums in higher grades. Earlier die states of O/S exist but are not visible. The O/S reverses show raised dots due to rusted dies and proof-likes are unknown. A very strong doubled O mint mark of Vam-7 is visible below and within the O and carries a modest premium. Proof-likes are fairly avaiblable and quite a few have cameo contrast as this 82-O DMPL is showing.
