The prior owner of this coin tells me it came from an old Philadelphia collection assembled mostly from the 1930's through the 1950's and was kept in a Kraft paper envelope, in an old red cardboard stock box. The obverse has a gun metal blue toning, while the reverse is stunning, with gold turning to orange, to rust at the rims. The 97-S is more limited in terms of of supply, but the 97-O has much more demand. Another R4 coin, and one of the best kept secrets in the Barber dime series. Total PCGS AU population is 20 with 6 in AU 55 and only 4 higher in AU 58.
