A few die varieties exist for the 1901-P with one being of significance the Vam-3 with shifted eagle. It is the strongest doubled reverse die of the Morgan series and shows pronounced doubling of the bottom of the eagle's wings and tail feathers, olive branch and arrow shafts. It commands a large premium in all grades with only one known Mint State example graded by PCGS in MS61 . Purchased from CU Member, bsb.
