1922 Peace Dollar VAM-2A Top 50 Ear Ring LDS PCGS AU58 purchased at 30-bid eBay auction 3/14/2022 for $213.50 + $5.40 shipping = $218.90 total. The next highest bids were $211, $200, $188, $177. Connor already had one in NGC MS62 holder, but wanted another one in PCGS holder at fair price (one of his favorites). The "earring" die variety is an obvious extra blob of metal readily visible to the naked eye under Liberty's ear. The eBay seller noted "it is a very sought after Error Coin, as it is now recognized as an official error in the PCGS Grading System!!" and described it in his eBay listing with hyperbole as "1922 Silver Peace Dollar Extremely Rare ERROR Coin - VAM 2A EARRING!!! PCGS HOT !!"
