1922 Peace Silver Dollar Top 50 VAM 5B TDR MS63 PCGS Wing Break Rare. Large die crack on eagle's wing, visible to naked eye. TDR = "Triple Die Reverse". At time of purchase, total PCGS population was 66, with only 15 examples graded higher. Of those, only 3 similar examples sold within the past 13 years ($404 eBay 6/2011, $329 Heritage 12/2013, $180 David Lawrence 12/2020). However, one grade below (MS62) sold twice in 7/2013 for $353. Purchased for $361.11 (our full max bid) at eBay auction 2/15/2024 for Connor. Barely won the auction, which had 59 bids - allmost all of them placed by one other inexperienced bidder, although most of his bids were in $275 range. If that other bidder hadn't shown interest, it would have otherwise sold for as low as $200.
