1926-S Peace Dollar PCGS MS64 VAM 4 Dot Top 50 die Variety. Paid $285 buy-it-now eBay 12/30/2020 from seller eaglenestore (Sue Mellinger, Clarkston, WA) for Connor. At time of purchase, the PCGS retail value was $300, but prior Heritage auctions went for $329 (in 08/2016), and $376 (in 01/2016) so this was the lowest price on record for MS64, of which there was a low population of just 16 (with only 7 examples graded higher). The real-market value for just a normal 1926-S Peace Dollar without the VAM die variety was $250, so we only paid a small premium ($35 extra) for the VAM feature.
