Purchased at eBay 11/25/2019 by "make-an-offer", reducing price from $310 to $240, then received $24 credit (10% off) in "eBay bucks". When making offer to seller, I added note "Please consider this fair offer $240 - most MS62 have recently sold for $225-250 at eBay auction"

According to a notice in the June 1934 issue of The Numismatist (p. 416), collectors could still purchase Uncirculated 1927-D Peace Dollars directly from the U.S. Treasury for "the face value of the coins and an amount sufficient to cover the mail charrges by first-class mail."
