One of the highest graded examples of this rare variety, the inverted mintmark can be seen easily with the naked eye. Thick lustrous golden rose patina envelops both sides of this premium gem. The preservation of the surfaces is exceptional but extensive die wear is most evident under the reverse lettering. As is so often the case, full steps are precluded by bridging of the 4th & 5th steps under the third pillar.
