Blast White Monster. This coin is a Doubled Die Reverse (CONECA DDR-001 and /or WDDR-001) with strong extra thickness on "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA", "HALF DOLLAR", dots (very evident), "E PLURIBUS UNUM", and the cactus. The following die markers are present on the subject coin: Obverse: NE/SW die scratches on both sides and inside the 6 in the date. Reverse: Die scratch SE from the right center of the R in AMERICA to the I consistent with WDDR-001

The 1946-S is the most common San Francisco Mint Walking Liberty Half Dollar. Obviously, a significany quantity of uncirculated rolls was saved in the year of issue. The typical specimen is relatively well struck. There are many frosty Gems available.
