The 1952-P Jefferson Nickel is very common for the series, as it's mintage is almost 64 million. Which is considered very high compared to other dates in the series. For example, the 1938-D and 1938-S both have mintages under 5.5 million. 

The 1952-P Jefferson Nickel is common up to about MS65 condition with tens of thousands of examples probably still out there.  In MS66 hundreds, if not thousands of examples still exist. In MS67 it is rare with less than a dozen or two known. Anything displaying Full Step characteristics on the reverse is considered very rare and worth a premium in any grade.
