The 1967 Jefferson Nickel is one f the handful of nickels that is unknown to exist with Full Steps details on the reverse of the coin. With a mintage of over 100 million coins, there has never been one coin discovered with the Full Steps details o the reverse of the coin.
Despite its large mintage, the coins probably just don't exist with Full Steps details. It's been over 40 years and not one has ever been found. The odds are that the Full Steps details were never on the actual dies, since most dies were very worn out with many of them being reused constantly instead of being re-engraved. The 1967-P, 1969-D and 1969-S Nickels, are the only business strike Jefferson Nickels from 1965 to date that are unknown to exist with Full Steps details on the reverse design of the coin.

The 1967 Nickel is a common coin in all grades, including Gem Mint State. Full Step examples are so rare that PCGS has not yet certified a single example. The finest non-Full Step 1967 Nickels certified by PCGS are two at the MS67 level.
