Six years after Neil Armstrong announced to the world “The Eagle has landed,” this commemorative marked that giant leap; and also featured Betsy Ross along with that small step that a fledgling country took in a mere 200 years, taking that flag with them albeit with a few more stars. The infinite black fields of space are backdrops for Betsy and Neil.. Unusual for this coin, the open fields appear clean and unmarred.
