In 1992, the Mint introduced a new Silver Proof Set that contained en example of each coin that was in circulation. Three of the coins were composed of 90% silver which included the Roosevelt Dime, Washington Quarter and the Kennedy Half Dollar. It also contained two other coins that did not contain silver which are the Lincoln cent and the Jefferson Nickel.
The 1992-S Silver Proof Dime is not a scarce coin with a mintage of well over 1 million. Most examples that exist are in grades of PR63 - PR68. Only examples in PR69 become somewhat difficult to find, but yet, can be purcahsed at a very small premium over the spot price of the coin. In PR70 condition, it is a bit tough with a couple hundred examples graded in this grade by PCGS.
