1996 Israel €100 Golda Meir PR70DCAM { PCGS-5 }. This fantasy gold gem remembers a remarkable world leader who shepherded her fledgling country through some extremely dire times. The obverse features flags of the EU and Israel with the year “1996” and along the edge “ISRAEL” is written in Hebrew, Arabic and Latin script. On the reverse, “GOLDA MEIR” appears, and in Hebrew “גולדה מאיר” and Golda Meir appears with the globe in the background and facing a minora. This design was rendered in copper-nickel on a €5 coin, silver on a €50 coin and a maximum of 1,996 €100 gold specimens were struck; this one with flawless mirrors which effectively waves life into the flags. The gold is 91.6% pure.
