Grading resulted in not being an error in the stamping. Let this be a warning to anyone thinking that a slight variation in the stamping will result in an error grade will sadly be mistaken. As it is for myself, I will still pursue looking for an error, and maybe one of the slight variances of a stamp will be recognized as an error.

The coin was officially released into circulation on February 15, 2007.

A 2007-P George Washington Dollar with a Position A will have the coin's edge lettering facing upside-down when the President's portrait faces up.
