The 2008-W Louisa Adams Uncirculated $10 coin was the sixth gold coin issued in the First Spouse Coin Program. It was also the second Spouse coin which was introduced in the year 2008.

The coin was officially released on May 29, 2008. The Mint produced a Mint State and  Proof $10 Louisa Adams Spouse Coin. The Mint State version was originally offered by the Mint at $619.95 each. The mintage limit was 40,000 coins for both the Mint State and Proof coins combined.
