Early in 2010, a collector from Arizona discovered a 2009 Zachary Taylor Dollar with edge inscriptions intended for 2010.

Since the Zachary Taylor Dollar was found in 2010 Native American Dollar rolls from the Direct Ship Program, the Mint decided to have employees unwrap and search 700,000 rolls of the 2010 Native American Dollars. The Mint wanted to make sure that no other errors would escape.
