The 2013-P Great Basin Quarter is the third design issued in the America the Beautiful Quarters Program for the year 2013. The Great Basin Quarter is also the eighteenth coin design issued in the program. The coin was officially issued by the U.S. Mint on July 15, 2013. The issue price for each coin was set at $154.95. 

The Special Strike (SP) 5 oz. Quarters have a satin like finish, while the regular strikes have a semi proof like finish. The Special Strike versions are sold to collectors directly by the U.S. Mint. The regular strike versions are sold to a group of  Authorized U.S. Mint Purchasers and they resell the coins to the public.
