2014 Jersey 50 Pence Margaret Thatcher PR70DCAM { PCGS-5 }. This coin is part of a 12-coin set remembering the reign of QE2. Half are minted for Jersey and half for Guernsey. This coin recalls the service of Margaret Thatcher from 1979 to 1990 with a color image of her on this gold-plated steel coin. It is one of three coins to honor “The Iron Lady”. The others are appropriately from the Falkland Islands and Ascension Island (St. Helena). This perfect steel-gilded coin exudes luster and remarkable mirrored surfaces. A younger and older QE2 grace both sides yielding a total of three images from Ron Guth’s list.
