The $50 2016 Uncirculated Gold Eagles were officially released by the U.S. Mint beginning January 11, 2016. The Mint also offered 2016 Gold Eagles in $5, $10, and $25 denominations. The same day, the U.S. Mint also released the 2016 $50 Uncirculated Gold Buffaloes.  

Most 2016 $50 Uncirculated Gold Eagles came well struck ranging from MS68-MS70 condition.
