2018 Palau $10 Rape of Prosperina Eternal Sculptures PR69DCAM { PCGS-5 }. This sculpture, named using the Latinized Persephone, shows Lord of the Underworld smitten by her beauty takes her, abducts her and ultimately makes her his queen of the underworld. The original story featuring Persephone and Hades, was modified by the Italian sculpture Gian Lorenzo Bernini to use the Roman names Prosperina and Pluto. This pure 2-ounce silver gem is rendered using black-proof to give realistic marble-like hues of the statue against a black backdrop. Just 999 pieces were struck in this series of five eternal sculptures issued over a series of years.
