The $25 2022-W Reverse Proof Palladium American Eagle first went on sale on the U.S. Mint website on September 29, 2022. The maximum authorized mintage for the coin was set at 7,500 coins, with a 10 coin per household set in place. The issue price of the coin, if purchased during the first week of sales directly from the U.S. Mint website was $3,050 for each coin. Over the following weeks and months, the price of the coin was then adjusted on the U.S. Mint website, based on the spot price of palladium.
