1994 Egypt £5 Queen Hatshepsut Mask PR69DCAM { PCGS-5 }. Brilliant fields offset the highly frosted mask. This queen was the second to become Pharaoh and rule all of Egypt. (Cleopatra came much later). Some consider her the first great woman in history, with impeccable credentials for becoming pharaoh. Her father, step-brother/husband and step-son were all pharaohs when she became coregent for her 2 1/2 year old step-son. She reigned longer than any native Egyptian woman undertaking ambitious building and trade promotion.
