RARE South Carolina token with the "eagle on pestle" pictorial reverse of the Haviland, Stevenson & Co. firm of Charleston muled with the reverse of a stove dealer from Michigan. No denomination, brass, 27mm, uncirculated condition with original toning. See pics....... This token is RARE and is rated R-9 in the new South Carolina token book. It is ONE OF JUST 3 OR 4 of its type presently known to exist and is pictured on page 169 of the book.......... This token is from the Chibbaro Collection, the most complete grouping of South Carolina tokens ever formed. The collection was formed over a period of 36 years and is comprised of over 3,400 different tokens from the state.
