This set is a true representative set for the collector who wants “one of each” type issue in the U.S.-Philippines series. This set, when completed, will tell of the evolution of this fascinating and relatively short series and the changes each denomination underwent over the years – a reminder of the virtues of its time ultimately telling the story of America’s experiment in Southeast Asian colonialism in the 20th century. This set includes the two mules, neither of which were a change in type. The 1918-S five centavos was an error. The 1928/7 twenty Centavos was deliberately made.
