Thanks to Robin For another great example for my set. This coin can be traced back to the Colonel Carmine Pena collection. And makes the second one of his in my set. This was the last coin for the subset and 2 more to go for my Favorite the Variety Set.

This is the coin that really got my passion going for the Proof Variety Registry Set.Funny that 2 years later and still a work in progress. I own 2 of these 67 cameo's and 1 66+ and a few other superbirds including the ETF.
Made me a trade that would let this Super Super Bird come to join my Set. I found the second graded example and have held a few of these and must admit this 67 should be in a 68 holder. The coin is just Beautiful...Thanks to another member who knows the coin is now in Strong Hands and gets me one step closer to buiding the Finest set I could afford.............
This coin was purchased at the Heritage Auction June 8th Long Beach 2013 and Comes from the MJK Collection and was in a Proof 66 Cameo Holder. When I looked at this coin in hand I knew Instantly it would UPGRADE to a 67 Cameo and join the other 6 for a Top Pop Position. Grades came back on 9/9/2013 and I wass Right. I lost the OLD certificate number which shows the providence of the coin,but I am Very Happy to See it in the Right Holder for the Coin.

This coin makes the fourth one of these ETF that I have had in my hands. The first Proof 64 was the second coin to be found and a top pop at the time. Sold off and search for 4 months before finding example 2 which was truly a Proof 66 or better and was stolen at the PO in Anaheim. Example 3 came from Mike valente151 from the florida Fun Show 2013 in a Proof set. That coin came back a Proof 65, which honestly I thought was a 66. Newest example picked off ebay at the right time in a NGC holder Proof 68. Cracked it out and submitted and came back the Number 1 Coin Proof 67. If you search hard enough some times you get rewarded.....Enjoy
I have found more of these than any other Variety since I first started. I made this 67 cameo and a Proof 68 and a 67 and a 66 and a 65 and even one Proof 55? Yep it was a dog....This is a Very Interesting Die Gouge.......Also the ONLY DCAM I found in another members Set and Tried to Lure it away with Cash and Coins but the Owner LOVES the Coin and will never be Buried in it. So I Understand a True Collector.............

This coin was won in a battle on teletrade,it is the first Cameo DDO for the 1959 and fits perfectly with my collection........

Herbert Hicks was the person who discovered these way back and had told me about this coin he saw on ebay that was the type F. Herb passed away a few years ago and finally the coin is being recognized in a Set..
