关于此套币:
This is one of my favorite numismatic sets ... having honorably served our Country for 20+ years in the US Air Force, I was able to visit many States in our Union ... and these beautiful coins depict special memories I will cherish for my lifetime.
The Washington Statehood Quarters Program was created with the passage of Public Law 105–124 on December 1, 1997 by President William J. Clinton, authorizing the release of a series of circulating commemorative coins by the United States Mint.
From 1999 to 2008, the 50 state quarters were released by the United States Mint every ten weeks, or five each year. They were released in the same order that the states ratified the Constitution and/or were admitted to the Union. Each quarter's reverse commemorated one of the 50 states with a design emblematic of its unique history, traditions and symbols. Certain design elements, such as state flags, images of living persons, and head-and-shoulder images of deceased persons were prohibited.

Nice seeing someone from my Home State have a top set!! Keep up the good work!!
I started collecting coins in the Fall of 2018, and I am enamoured by the professionalism and enthusiasm of the many numismatists onlne that have helped me find rare coins to add to my new collections. Their compassion for the field has helped drive me to acquire some of the finest coins minted. Thank you, everyone, who has helped me along the way. This is my first collection ranked #1 and I am very proud of this accomplishment!!
This collection, the Washington 25C Statehood Quarters, is a favorite of mine since it truly highlights important landmarks and history from every State in the Union.
Launched in 1999, the United States Mint’s 50 State Quarters Program was a 10-year initiative that honored each of the nation’s states in the order that they ratified the Constitution or were admitted into the Union. Each quarter was produced for about 10 weeks and will never be produced again. State designs are displayed on the reverse (tails) of the quarters, while the obverse design displays the familiar image of George Washington. To accommodate state designs on the reverse, the words “United States of America,” “Quarter Dollar,” “Liberty,” and “In God We Trust” all appear on the obverse. God Bless America!
