As you can see, the host is getting REALLY stingy with the Cam Designation for Canadian coins.
Only 1 coin graded higher. Hope to get our hosts to create a circulated coins set for 1956 columbia since I have the all the coins in MS66 or above.
This is a really nice coin and I don't need two of them if anyone is interested. As you can see, 64 was a little harsh for this coin.
Top Pop, purchased May 2024. I expected this coin to grade MS67 the only marks on the coin are the slight Highpoint rubs from sitting in a roll for the last 68 years. Spectacular coin in hand.
Top Pop coin for my Colombia type collection. There were no 50c Minted in 1956, Looking for 1956 5c to complete the set!
Exceptionally struck for the series, with details in the eagles head and breast feathers unseen in most coins. There are several die breaks, the most prominent in the forehead. I was very surprised to see this coin grade lower than its sister in this submission.
Finest ever graded. I've been collecting this coin for almost a decade. They have a LOT of die breaks in the series and well-struck versions are very hard to find. This example has a small die break in the feathers of the eagle, and while not as well struck as its sister coin was graded higher. The only difference (besides the strike) that I was able to see between the two is an additional die break or two on the other coin.
My last submission included this coins baby sister and the grade on that coin was 2 points below my expectations, this coin (cracked out of an NGC MS65 slab) was equally disappointing. They seem to be VERY tough on Dominican Silver for some reason. All my other grades were in line or a little higher than I expected so not sure what to think about my two Dominican Republic failures.
While several coins exceeded my expectations for grades, this is my greatest disappointment. In hand this coin has a beautiful frosty luster that is unusual for the series, this only reason I can this of for the MS63 grade is a hairline around 11 o'clock on the obverse.
The largest of the silver coins minted in Egypt in 1956 it is part of my 1956 World Crown Collection. Sitting in a box for years waiting for a chance to get graded ;0)
While not impossible to find in uncirculated condition, very rare to find in this condition.
A beautiful example of the Sphinx, another hard to come by in this condition.
Part of my 1956 world coin collection that I've started sending in for grading. I'll be looking for a better example.
This is my second submission of an NGC coin for this slot. The first was bodybagged, and this (NGC MS65) was downgraded to MS64. This has been the toughest of all the coins in this series to find in Gem Stare.
Top Pop. 1956ish, Arab calendar doesn't sync up with ours. This will complete A silver typeset collection when my submission wraps up this month 07/04/24
Top Pop. 1956ish, Arab calendar doesn't sync up with ours. This will complete A silver typeset collection when my submission wraps up this month 07/04/24. A little pre-Mature, my 20 Pst was bodybagged so completing the set will have to wait for that coins replacement,
One of several Egyptian coins that I've had for several years. I should have known better than to send this one in for grading.
Part of my 1956 world coin collection that I've started sending in for grading. I'll be looking for a better example.
Purchased as part of a lot with other coins, was hoping for a MS65. Nice Silver coin
It took 12 years, but I finally found a Gem State Half Penny. Top Pop. I own 2 of the top coins from my last submission.
Found this in the junk bin of a flea market for $1. Nice red-brown patina.
Worst grade for the best looking coin, go figure. I bought these as a set and sent them in for conservation, might have done better if I had submitted raw. Will be upgrading all of these coins
Only 1 coin graded higher for any date. Finest know by any grading company. This was a crossover from NGC so the NGC MS66 and this coin are the same coin.
Top Pop. There aren't a lot of BU rolls to pick from. Finding Gem State coins in any denomination has been a HUGE challenge. This is one of the more difficult coins to find in BU.
This is my 2d try for a 65. Gem coins for this year are not easy to come by.
PCGS submission of an NGC MS65. WIll be submitting another coin in the next month or so.
Raw Submission purchased in June 2024. Very attractive edge toning in hand. Didn't quite make the grade. Still looking for that elusive MS66.
I collect world coins from 1956 and I picked up an IRISH mint set years ago that contained two coins from 1956 and a couple of others from 1954 and 1955. The only reason I sent this (and it's sister) was the PCGS Registry adding Irish year sets.
Top Pop!! I picked up an IRISH mint set years ago that contained two coins from 1956 and a couple of others from 1954 and 1955. The only reason I sent this (and it's sister) was the PCGS Registry adding Irish year sets.
Only 1 graded higher. This is the first coin of a series that ran for decades. Spectacular luster in hand.
Fortunately, after buying an NGC MS63 that I was going to submit, I found this gem. Only one coin graded higher.
Only 1 coin graded Higher. This coin was mislabeled on eBay as a 1959, the auction was canceled after I brought it to his attention. Took two weeks for him to relist it, Very nice coin for a difficult grade.
This was originally designated as a closed beak, and the closed beak I have was designated as an open beak. I had to send them back to get fixed.

Only Minted in 1950, this is a Type Set Top Pop. I am hoping to get our hosts to add this coin to the Brass 5 centavos set and a circulation set for 1950!
This coin was originally Mislabeled as a Bronze 5 Centavos. One of two years with both Brass and Bronze 5 centavos coins, this is the much rarer and smaller brass coin for 1955.
I have two of these now, This has a nice red, the other a beautiful purple toner. Not sure which I want to keep.
Purchased RAW had trouble finding one already graded, so took a chance on this to complete my S10P collection
Half the size of a dime 55 years old and fewer than a million minted. This is a rare by any standard and in MS66 almost impossible to find.
This was originally designated as an Open Beak. It has now been correctly designated as a Closed Beak. The Lower beak is clearly visible below the snake.

The 5 pesos seem to be harder to find in high grade than the 10 peso's. I won't give up till I find that elusive MS66
With the second largest mintage of 26.1 million coins I was lucky enough to find this on eBay after someone had made a large submission.

Top Pop was hoping for an MS67, spectacular coin in hand. Compare this coin to the other MS66 coins in the POP report. Doesn't make sense to me. Well Struck, spectacular luster, insignificant bag marks well out of the main fields and focus area.
This was an NGC MS64 crossover. I now have the #1 and #2 PCGS graded coins. If anyone is interested in this coin contact me for a sale or trade.
The KEY to the brass 5 centavos series This was the finest graded by PCGS till a beautiful MS65 showed up recently. I have a spare MS63 that is available if anyone is interested.
I have the much rarer 1955 in MS66 but haven't been able to find this one for over 10 years.
Geonaute, memomonedas and cecropiamoth have the 1956 MS67 20 centavos coins needed for my 1956 business strike collection. I guess I'll need to find one, since these guys don't look like they have any plans to part with their top pop coins.
This 1945 is a RAW coin purchased at the Parsippany coin show. The 1954 NGC MS65RB was bounced back as "Questionable Color"
Not officially released, but the 1st year of the Brass 5 Centavos. This is the more common of the two versions, the "no dot" with the "dot" version being the rarer of the two.
This is a was a PCGS mislabled as a small eagle. Funny, both my small and large eagles were mislabeled by NGC and PCGS.
It took a couple of tries to find one in gem condition, but there are no coins graded higher than this one.
Filler until I can find a nice Red coin to submit, not a lot graded.
I've been searching for 10 years for a MS66 1956, Kinda surprised I found this one first.
Finding this coin in MS67 was easier than finding the Centavo in MS65.
One of two 1957 10 Centavos coins I submitted, despite grading MS64 there is only 1 coin graded higher.
Funny how the 55 and 56 get 2X when this is the most difficult coin to find in MS!
With all the rolls out there, I'm sure there will be more MS67's graded eventually
Very nice coin. Hoping to put together a 1953 date set If I can get our hosts to extend the date sets down to 1950.
This was an NGC MS66 mislabeled as a Large Eagle. I bought this on Heritage and crossed it over.
Top Pop. if you look at the other MS66 coins this is a much cleaner coin.
Highest grade available to date. Incredibly hard to find these coins in gem state.
Butt ugly, But the least ugly I could find. Another very difficult year to find in gem condition.
Somebody else must have made a submission around the same time I did. The was 1 of 1 for a day or two before it's sister joined it in the #1 spot.
This is a cool-looking coin and while there are 6 that are graded one grade higher at MS66, I am very happy with this coin. Clean fields, well struck and almost no bag marks.
Top Pop from the top pop MS67 NGC Slab. Surprised it didn't cross as MS67 or at least a MS66+ when compared to the other MS66 coins, including the other MS66 I have in my collection.
I don't usually send in coins that I expect to grade less than MS65, and this is no exception - I was surprised at the MS63 grade, if you can see what I don't, please let me know as I am always trying to hone my skills.
This is another distraction from my main collection, but the quality of the coin drew me to it. A top pop coin with a popular design. I have it's big brother in another submission ;0)
This is a beautiful coin. I thought this would grade MS64, I knew it wasn't GEM but I wanted to get my GEM and near GEM Crown sized coins graded so I could display them all in my album.
I had originally submitted this coin to NGC where it was graded AU59, I had 4 of them come back as AU59 in that submission. This was the nicest of the four that I cracked out for a resubmission. The coin has ton's of original luster and is VERY hard to find in BU condition. I have both the 2 and 10ZL versions of this coin that will be following this one in for grading. Kinda surprised nobody has asked for a ladies only set.
I've never been able to figure out why this is a RB and not a RD. Just a hint of darkness behind the head on the Obverse.
I included this with other Business strikes since it is obvioiusly not a PL coin. There are no mirrored fields and if you compare this TrueView Pictures of my coin to those of other MS, it is obviously MS. Largest silver coin minted by South Africa in 1956. Part of my 1956 World Crown Collection. Sitting in a box for years waiting for a chance to get graded ;0)
Finest Graded by PCGS. This was the nicest coin from a 1956 Mint set. Thought they would be a little more forgiving of the bag marks on a Crown sized coin. Part of my 1956 World collection
One of the more beautiful coins from 1956, something of a throwback to the spectacular coins of the 1920's

This grade (MS67) was my biggest surprise. Another coin that i bought for it's beauty ( I really need to stay focused on my primary collections). Beautiful luster, slight patina.
I found this going through a box of 1950's silver coins at the Parsippany Coin Show. I don't really collect this year or coin, but it was too beautiful to pass up. The luster and toning on this coin are exceptional.
