1918 Mint Set

1918 was the second of the late 1910s sets without gold coinage. Despite the nation's involvement in the First World War, output from the three mints continued at a good pace, and unlike the coins of the next several years, there are not major rarities in this set. Certainly the mintmarked issues in top grade will not be cheap, but nothing like some of the 1919 and 1921 dates. There were two major overdates in 1918 (the 18/7-D Nickel and 18/7-S Quarter) but they are varieties and therefore not included in this set.
