A very nice example of the 1903. This is a tough date to aquire in mint state condition.
Although this is one of the more common dates of the series it's not that common to find one toned such as this.
No silver coins were produced for circulation at the Philadelphia Mint in 1904. Special mint sets were made through official channels by Farran Zerbe who then placed them for sale at the Louisiana Purchase Exposition which was held in Saint Louis that year.
An all around good looking coin that's hard to find above the MS62 grade.
The 1905-S is currently an undervalued coin. Both the straight and curved serif's are very hard to find in high grades.
This coin is the key to the entire series. With estimates of less than 100 known to exist, this coin is a challenge to obtain in any condition.
The serif of the 1 in the date is straight rather than curved as seen on all earlier dates. This 1 punch was used late in the production year for this date and again for all of the rare 1906 issue.
This coin is a beautiful example of the 1909-S. Hard to imagine finding one nicer.
The 1910-S is not considered a key date in the series however, it took me several years of searching to find one this nice.
The 1911-S is more scarce than people realize. With a much lower mintage than most of this series nice examples of this date can be difficult to locate.
The 1912-S is considered a semi-key coin in the series and rightfully so, very hard to come by in uncirculated condition.
In 1936 the Manila Mint produced a set of three coins to commemorate the founding of THE COMMONWEALTH OF THE PHILIPPINES on November 15th, 1935.Original issue price of the three piece set was $3.13. The set was comprised of two different One Peso's and One Fifty Centavos piece.
This coin was purchased at the same time as the Roosevelt Quezon commemorative as a set. Aquired from Jun Quatero, a dealer in the Philippines.
