This 1833 Classic half- cent features the bust of Lady Liberty bathed in beautiful shades of blue and purple toning mixed with brown toned copper. My favorite toned half cent.
Brush stroked in purple, blue, red, pink and peach is this 2 cent bronze proof. In 1865 the Philadelphia mint struck 500 proofs, the second lowest by year of the short-lived series.
A trime of many colors, including vibrant tones of forest green, lemon, fire, teal, and sky blue. This type three silver three cent piece is one of 343,000 circulation strikes minted in 1862. Roughly 10,000 have survived, making this year the most available of the type.
This type 3 Seated half-dime features bold obverse colors of ice blue, transitioning to deep maroon and midnight purple. The reverse is warmly colored in russet, ocean blue with sprinkles of orange, purple and lime. 1858 saw a large mintage of 3,500,000 five cent pieces and PCGS estimates 3,000 survivors.
Only 8,000 business strikes were minted in Philadelphia in 1867, making it the lowest circulation mintage of the entire series. Just 1 graded higher by PCGS.
Plum, pink, peach and cerulean colors on the obverse, light blue and slate on the reverse. 1836 saw a mintage of 1,190,000 dimes, and PCGS estimates 1,250 survivors. 1 in AU58+
