1806 1/2C Small 6, No Stems VF30BN PCGS #1093

For a type set 1806 is certainly the year to target for a nice coin at a decent price even though this year had one of the smaller mintages compared to 1804, 1805, 1807 or 1808. My coin is a dark brown and the reverse still shows nice detail for a VF30.

1814 1C Plain 4 VG10BN PCGS #1576

This 1814 Classic Head cent is dark and porous which was fairly common for this coin due to the copper stock used. 1814 was also the last year this design was used and this coin is the plain 4 variety (no cross bar on the 4 in the date) which was the less common variety for this year.

1857 1C Flying Eagle MS62 PCGS #2016

Even though this is a mint state 62 the tail feathers are poorly struck. At some point, I will want to cherry pick a nicer example for my type set.

1872 $1 F15 PCGS #6968

I did have this coin sent into PCGS for restoration. I felt the coin had some environmental surface issues that in the long term would affect the coin.
