The California fractional Gold set is challenge and very likely that no one can ever assemble a complete set. Nevertheless, a high grade mini-set is always possible to complete. I truly enjoy chasing these little guys.
Finally, this set hits the Current Finest Possible Set Rating (66.917) on April 26. 2016. Three of the six coins were home made the pop top (BG-714, BG-912, and BG-1010) and two pop top coins (BG 808, BG-1207) were purchased from various Heritage auctions, and BG-1129 was purchased from AUCM.com.
The BG-714 is the lone PCGS MS68 (previously, lone NGC MS68-star) CSDG coin which is a truly amazing CSDG. The BG-1029 is the lone MS67 CSDG dollar coin and the BG-1207 is the lone MS65 CSDG round dollar coin.

Congratulations indeed! Have you ever considered collcting a Period 1 type set? It would be a nice challenge and would make a nice complementaddition to your Period 2 collection!
I wanted to add that it was getting awfully lonely being at the top for 10 plus years!! I was beginning to wonder if I was the only collecting these wonderful condition rarities!! LOL
