The Roman Collection

关于此套币: The Roman Collection is a wonderful accomplishment and through-and-through shows an emphasis on quality and overall appeal. While a handful of coins in the set are toned, luster and bright surfaces predominate. The Alabama (PCGS MS66), Missouri 2x4 (PCGS MS65), and Hawaiian (PCGS MS66) are very seldom untoned and with such abundant luster at their respective, lofty grade levels. They are exciting pieces. Even the Connecticut (PCGS MS66) and San Diego 1935-D (PCGS MS67) are only infrequently seen as blazing white coins at these grades.
The other keys of this set, the Monroe (PCGS MS65), Panama Pacific (PCGS MS66), and Sesquicentennial (PCGS MS65) show a slightly different side of the collection. They each possess superb surfaces for the issue, and each displays a lovely delicate patina. The set sits well together, as there is no hole or weakness. The keys are as choice as the common issues, and the overall balance of the collection is just right.
